Although i cannot be 100% sure,i would call the light blue of the blocks"Process Blue"this is a colour quite common to us Signwriters and readilly available at most sign suppliers(check your yellow pages)check out a colour card for Viponds Paints or Solver,it's a shelf colour in enamel.Good Luck

Oh No!!! I painted my recently rebuilt A14 light Ford Blue. (I guess it's really kind of baby blue) I hope it doesn't run like a Ford.

Ah good. If you find out more, please add to the wiki article. I'm not too sure of the color mix listed there. But the pictures are pretty conclusive about the two engine colors.

There are different shades of blue in different years. The 1971-1973 1200s used a turquois color that is reportedly close to Chrysler Blue. For pictures and more details, see wiki - engine color

I would rather have my block rusty and covered in oil than paint it chev blue. Take a block into RJ pattersons and get them to colour match it for you.
