The N10 Pulsars in Australia were were first fitted with the "A" series engines and then went to the "E" series engine after a few years.
See if you can get hold of a workshop manual or parts manual for the N10 to compare the mounts. If you get stuck go to a library they often have car manuals that you can look at.

I think its general consensus that the dizzy from the E15 will end up in the firewall for the 120y.
The e15 aparently mounts up to the a series box with little dramas, just one or two bolts need to be moved/adjusted.

also known as a N10 Pulsar in Australia.
If you have those cars, you're the best person to answer the question about the fwd A15 into your 120Y (B210 or B310?). If the engine mounts are the same, or can be swapped from your 120Y to the fwd A15 then you shouldn't have too many dramas. Sump location is the other biggy. Plus other relatively mino things to look for , like differences in thermostat and bottom radiator hose to the engine. I'd be surprised if there's any huge differences with mounting or sump. the E15 into N10 will probably be alot harder...

Hi guys...i have a strange question/project going around in my head...need some advice! i have a 1981 datsun 310 also known as cherry...chasis n10! it has a A15 fwd...and i had an idea! will an e15ET swap in to this car be a good swap? what would be involved in this swap? like how is the cross member from the e15et? im getting the engine off an Nissan Langley...and another thing, would it be to hard to adapt the A15 fwd to my Datsun 120y? using the 120y tranny? are there any diferences from the fwd A15 to a rwd? is this doable? thaks a lot mates...this is the best forum on the net...peace...
