The easiest replacement is from a late Model 120Y.
They are considerably bigger and are a direct replacement for the 1200 unit making for an easy swap. James Eaves1200

The master cylinder in the C20 Vanette is 13/16's. don't know what that is in metric but must be close when you convert it which I am too lazy to do without a calculator.
The van reservior may be a little fiddly as it is designed to fit in behind the dash but you never know Nissan may have been kind enough to run the same size inlets so your reserviors slip straight in. Why do you want the same reservior set up. If you are replacing the whole master cylinder I would have thought it didn't matter to much. Rather the flange and bolt pattern that it bolts to would be more important. I seem to remember a Zoom I think or maybe one of the four cylinder magazines that had a bright orange 1200 ute with a late model motor and I'm nearly sure they stated that it ran a Nissan Patrol master with the 1200 booster. Don't know what bore size it is but would be worth a look. They run big brakes that work very well.

Don't know from what model, but you can look around wreckers and get an idea. Try all 70's models Datsun/Nissans. As for the bonnets, primarily they were on the imported
GX models. I think private import to Australia only. I used to have one on a 1200 wagon, got it from the wrecking yard...before I became addicted, kinda wish I'd have kept it too..ah well. Chris

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a master cylinder with a large bore that has the same front and rear reservoir setup as the 1200? I know the 260z has one that is 22mm but im
looking for some thing around the 24-25mm mark. Also those power bulge bonnets, Im sure ive got some aus mags with 1200s that have them. Am I too assume that they have imported a japanese bonnet or can you order those after market bonnets with the bulge in them? Just wondering as they do look good! You can view topic.
