how do you go with clearance between xmember and bonnet. I am over half way through vp v6 and t5 into tg gemini and the sump is only 5mm from xmember with maybe another 5 if your lucky between bonnet and alternator. Lucky its solid mounted so shouldnt hit. Will go hard in a 1000

thats a fun job hey! i just finished it on my kb10.

you should have a look at some japanese websites about the suspension, they put little coilovers in there. I have also heard of people resetting and adding leaves to the standard reverse leaf front. Someone even welded strut towers in!

Cheers

Well this weekends dedicated to the 1000! Last night I did a bit of work on the trans tunnel and spent a few "minutes" removing the sound deadening from the floor, getting it ready to seam weld.

Heres what I did tonight. Trans tunnel has been sufficiently made bigger and the trans mount is half done. i'm trying to get as much done before I go to Darwin next week

--BERT, i havent thought of what to do with the suspension yet. was going to leave that till last. I have got brakes sussed though. Silvia front rotors should be enough!!

I did think of that but the manifolds are not symmetrical so custom jobbies are the go. have thought of the twin turbo set up too but funnily enough ive run out of room

What if you swap the manifold so they are pointing up? Would you run twin stacks or twin high mounts?
