its a safety thing with the legality of it "a roll cage in the car may not be mounted to parcel shelf (yeh whatever) and sufficent padding must be used around all areas" and u should be able to get it through rego with no problems

I dont know if it would be road legal without an engineers certificate or not.
If you get it registered as a two seater I cant see a problem. It is really nice and still available.

I'm curious now...if this was bolted into a standard 1000 coupe, and harness' attached to its brackets, would that be road legal ?? I guess the rear seats would have to go and a blue slip would be required if its at all posible.
