Inject nitrous oxide between the carb and the turbo with a nozzle. The latent heat of the liquid boiling into gas will chemically intercool the turbo, albeit before it's compressed and the majority of the heat is generated.

i havent gone through with it for that very reason. the only benifit of if it did actually work is that the fuel wouldnt build up in the cooler but instead it would dribble out into the pipes then you would need to have some way of removing the fuel from the pipes. lot of effort involved and most likely a bit of a waiste of time with little benifit.. water injection would be the better option. its just that i scored a stock silvia cooler and pipes for free and i thort id just play around with but its all good.

Yeah I seriously think you are wasting your time with that one. As CS said above water injection might be the go.

What principle are you relying on for it not to condense. I still would have thout that the intercooler would slow the air down and allow the fuel to condense and then If it backfires you have a bomb in your engine bay. You could maybe look at water injection to cool the charge instead. There is a couple of set ups on the site i think

i have been playing around with this idea for a little while. i got one possibility of it working. my therory is that if the intercooler is up higher than the rest of the intake pipe work than fuel will not condense and build up in the cooler. however fuel may condence and build in the pipework after the cooler. in order to do this you need a rather small cooler and lay it flat. down side is that it will get alot of heatsoak from being inside the engine bay. its just an idea i have been playing around with i havent had the chance to finish it as i i have run out of funds and i still need to fix or replace my existing turbo. dont how well this will work or if it will work at all

other things to consider are lots or heat sheilding, small themo fan to draw cold air from down low and blow it out through the bonnet and also the hole in the bonnet

i can uplaod some picks if anybody is interested in what im trying to do but again i dont no if it is really worth doing
