i do like to look of top gears manifold, and it seems to work excelent!

but i'll go with a round plenum, and mine will sit higher, as my runners curve upward, i will also flair out the end of the runners were they met the plenum.

any other ideas.... let me know??

Topgears manifold looks nice.

With drawthrough, you need to be careful you are not pooling the fuel vapour in parts of the manifold. You will have a nice pipebomb go off in your engine bay if you get an intake backfire..

This is one of the reasons why manifold designs generally use some gravity to stop 'pooling' of the fuel.

This is my take on it.

theres also the option of getting a sidedraft manifold, getting a piece of pipe and modifying it so it bolts to the manifold.
Then you clos eone end of the pipe and whammey, a cheap and easy plenum.
The picture of the one you posted:



looks good. Standard exhaust manifold looks interesting, possibly a jpipe or modified.
Wouldnt be very hard to make the above plenum, the hard/tedious part is making the flange for the head.
I say just go for it and see what you come up with. Should work well

im about to start on my intake manifold for my A14 drawthrough setup.
i think a LOG type manifold would be the way to go,
im going for long runners for the tourqe,
but was a bit unsure about plenum chamber size?

in theory, double the size of 1.4.

just found this picture, and this is looks about right to me..., i wonder what size that plenum is?
