i had a look at that wiring diagram, looks like a mirror of one of my FSM scans :) good someone has some hosting, I've been lazy about putting mine back up.

there is a resistor pack that makes the different speeds, i thnk it's hidden in the blower or somewhere it gets air flow, they tend to burn out over years and make the various #'s on the speed selector stop working.

hey, does anyone know where to find a wiring diagram for the heater circuit in a 1980 210? It did not work when I bought the car and the wiring is semingly all there, justy not hooked up in the correct order. Iv'e tried playing with the wires and have got power to the relay, but can not get the blower motor to switch on. getting frustrated and cannot find a repair manual for the 210, just the trucks. thanks for any help.
