While the fastener was shown [3 req] it did not have a reference number in the illustration & therefore no part number is shown, but it would be a standard [Datsun] hardware item.
It is not listed in my book as an option, so I presume it was available as a dealer fitted accessory on 1200 sedans.

Chris & Benny work hand in hand getting parts for his (benny) sedan. anyway i am alomst positive Benny doesn't have a GL/GXbonnet at least not on his sedan. i have seen it often enough and got pics of it from fairly recently on this site of his sedan


best bet for a metal one is to scour the Overseas markets and Yahoo Japan...they are your best bets

i wanna try to find a steel bonnet not a fibreglass one anyways there on ebay the fiberglass ones thankx anyways .. on the sedans ive seen the moulds on the bootlid i have a picture with one on it and benny from this site has one on his datto sedan

But i wont stop buging him to let me buy his!!!! THe only other option is that i think one of the members on here is making some fibreglass GL/GX bonnets. just do a search on the site about them.

When it comes to the facelift model bonnet [it was not exclusive to the GX] it's largely a matter of taking a number & joining the queue. They are in short supply & big demand.

hi all im after a gx bonnet for my 1200 anyone out there got one and on the gx they come with a mould on the boot lid after that to thankyou
