Im chasing the grill for a friend who is building a 1000 sports sedan. The rat ute is coming along well all painted just doing the disc brake conversion now.the projects will be on hold for the next few months as we have just bought a new house and i have to build the 6 car garage (my dream shed for the last 20 years) For Boofhead. Morwell 37.96 Phillip island 2:01.67 Sandown 1:33.85 Calder 1:12.17 Rob roy 24.58 (record held for 8 years for inproved production class new record this year time not known) Car datsun 1000 coupe a14\a15 ,1200 gx head, dog leg 5 speed ,h165 diff (3.9) 4 wheel disc ,weight 700 kg built for inproved production class. Well it'd have to be a big deposit. The original would still hold its value I think. The question is how good is the fibre-glasser? I'd be keen as for one.

as for fibre glassing a replica, i'd be happy too lend it but the problen is the damage that can be done while making a mould ??!!

Ive tried boofhead as well but he wont nudge for the alloy grille.
What I can suggest is to when anyone has a very good one is to lend it out to me so I can get a fibreglass copies made. Theyll look nice with aluminium colored paint. You can view topic.
