I'm curious how one makes sure the engine/drivetrain geometry is correct when fitting a different engine/trans entirely.
If you have to make new trans & engine mounts to fit in, how do you avoid getting the angle wrong for the driveline to rearend connection? Or do you just rely on the U-joints to compensate? Thanks!

I know a bloke who has done this conversion. The motor cost him far more than anSR or CA ever would have. He's out to build a cruiser though, so he's not too worried.

Yep -defintaely. I've always wanted to do this conversion, but due to regulations, I've got to stick to Nissan.
