I could be wrong but i think he means get a remap of the standard ECU... In my opinion one of the best options out there.

Auto CA18 ecus can be a bit sluggish compared to manual factory ECU. I think it's to do with the signals from the auto gearbox computer missing.
They'll work ok..But don't expect more than 100kW at the wheels. I'd recommend looking for a manual ECU (difficult to identify with numbers)

I thought you could use the auto computer on a manual though....the auto computer has extra stuff for auto in it that just isn't used in the case of a manual gearbox?
I'm guessing here mind you.....

The ECU's are different... I wouldnt doubt you would find one over ebay, just swap them over and bob's your sister!

Is there or would there be any problem in removing an auto and replacing with a 5 speed manual on the back of ca18det, is there alot to change?? You can view topic.
