Believe me they were cheap back then 350 bucks for a dogleg box.
Mind you 350 bucks was a weeks wage in 85 but readily available.

The later wagons came with 5 speed, but a five speed could have been installed by a previous owner, they were cheap and easy to come by back in the 80's.

My nephew has got onto a very cheep Sunny(Suit Parts Only) for me I have know idea what body type or year model it is as yet though he seems to think it is a 5spd. He is not into Japanese vehicles and has no idea what he is looking at(I am still on my L plate). What details should I tell him to get eg: compliance plate numbers and or option numbers if they have them.
Did the Sunny come with a 5spd or is he most likely mistaken
