AH done this to a few cars. The 1200 coupe ran out of juice! the sedan was in a "formula boonga" event (rally type event with no rules) I pranged it on the first lap of the day which took out the radiator and sump but managed to run for the rest of the day with no water and no oil!!! Typical datsun behaviour, cant kill them!

Nah havent done it to a datto, but we killed an old XD falcon iwth a 250crossy
dropped the raditator, pulled off the oil filter, and wedged the accelerator with a star picket. That ran at full noise for about 10 mins, before it slowly dropped valves, 1 cyclinder at a time, till it just spluttered to a stop. Was kinda dissapointing as we were hoping for it to throw a leg outa bed. This was after doing burnouts in it for about 4 hours. We eventually took the tyres off the front so we could keep diong skids! Then we skull dragged the burnt out shell onto a trailer and it went to sims... Ahh good times good times... Hmm perhaps IO shouldnt be letting out the secret of my inner hillbilly....

Yeh we did that to a L16 Stanza. I recon it ran out of fuel before it seized. Wedged a stick on the acc linkage so it was at about 7000rpm and left it.... put a tree thru the rad... still going... snapped off the fan blades and belt by dropping rocks on it... then eventualy it just putted to a stop. Damn

I haven't done it with an A12 DATSUN BLING but I have done it with a 240K. About 2 hours into the revfest we cut the water hoses which made it overheat but not die. Then we dropped the oil while it was running. Then it got interesting. Sparks and smoke and rattles. Then the cops came and told us to shut it down or be faced with noise pollution charges. We tried to fire it up again but it was siezed. Too bad soo sad.
