You need a '76-78 5-speed driveshaft OR an automatic driveshaft 1971-1982.
Regular four-speed or newer 5-speed driveshafts are different. You should be able to take your driveshaft to a driveshaft rebuilder and they can fit a new U-Joint (regardless of what the manual says).

The front U-joint on my B210 is going. This is my daily driver so I need to replace it as soon as possible. I'm in the Portland OR. area.
Please help so I don't have to drive this chevy malibu rental anymore. It's a 77 5 speed.
