I still have the paperwork from Neil, but since he is closed, I dont know how much help that is going to be.

If I can get the remaining bits, that is going to be a lot eaiser.

I have to come and see you about the mounts and dash matt soon anyways

Do you have your recipt from rocket?
If not i'm sure neil still has one in his paperwork

I can help ordering parts if you need them, have been on the phone to yella terra recently so i could possibly even order them direct - save stuffing arround with rocket.

It comes as a complete kit with shafts & pedestals, .. or at least mine & Ferals did.

It seems that is what I have done.... unwittingly.

Well when I collected the box from Neil, it was sealed from factory, and not really knowing what I was supposed to get with the kit didnt ask questions. I have only just got around to fitting them, so its probally a little too late to chase bits up.

Did I hear that someone is a Rocket Industries retailer on here?

Everything says direct bolt on replacement. Only need special rods.
I am missing parts arnt I... like new pedastals, washers, new shaft, new springs.....

The shaft needs to be hardened to run the roller bearings & if the rockers were designed to go on a standard [soft] shaft the rockers would need to be very large to accomodate the roller bearing. This would make them too large to correctly position the adjustment screw which is closer to the centerline of the shaft in order to get the increase in rocker arm ratio.

Folks

Just pulled apart the rocker assembly with plans to put my new rollers on, and I came across a little hiccup.

The new rockers have a smaller diameter hole for the shaft than standard!

I have read and re-read then instuctions and checked on the website. The only changes required aparently are that special rods are required. (which I now have). The original shaft doesent fit the new rockers! arrgh.

Have I been shafted?
