the resivour by its self is really of no use unless you have limited space and the standard resivours wont fit

they are handy for when you do an in car setup, ie master cylinder mounted under the dash somewhere as you then just have to run hoses into the engine bay to the remote resivour

It is just a reservoir for the master cyl. You bolt it to the strut tower or just behind and run hoses to the master cyl. It gives you more room where the standard reservoirs go. It is an advantage when running bigger calipers cos it gives you more volume of brake fluid over std which you need as the caliper piston moves.

I been lookin at this remote resivoir on fleabay for my 1200 but got no idea what it is and its gettin a few bids.

Anyone explain what it is and where it sits etc etc?
