Check the dwell and or points gap and the timing first. Then if the carb isn't gunked up fill it with some fresh gas. Spark does sound weak.

so i bought a 72 1200 coupe, and i need to get it running to bring it to my garage. while working on it today i found that it turns over easily(it's been parked for years, not sure how long) all 4 spark plugs produce a bright orange spark, and i'm still not sure about the fuel pump, but i tried starter spray and gas directly into the carb.
so i'm not sure what my problem could be? i think that i should be getting a bigger spark(blue even?) and i'm not sure if the wires are in the correct order any advide would be great thanks! You can view topic.
