I have an 80 km round trip to work every day and that costs me around 7 dollars. I don't have insurance and it's still registerd in my Grandads name so that is 220 dollars for rego I think. It cost me about 500 dollars to get going though!

i just got 40ltrs/600km on a recent trip interstate (stock standard a12gx w/toyota 5 speed.). and normally ill only buy bits and pieces ie. ig leads, spark plugs etc.... when ever they are needed. which isnt very often.add that to rego, insurance and its still cheap as chips.
my 1200 would have to be the cheapest most reliable car ive ever owned.

My running costs are almost zero -- if I don't count beauty items from eBay
![]() WA yearly registration is $50/year I might spend $50/year on maintainence.

On my daily driver, in 6 months, i have spent $1200 in term of maintainance, rego and initial cost. So its cost me about $200 a month to have this car, not including petrol and insurance as running costs. Now its blowing smoke and wont last much longer. Considering this was a daily with few luxuries, im not going to spend anymore money on it, do you reckon i got value for my money?
