Millions of B210 GX cars came with a single carb engine, no dual valve springs.

Sumit, what are you trying to identify? If a specific engine came from a B210 instead of some other Datsun? Or if it is a twin-carb engine?

There are a couple of things to look for if there are no carburettors on the motor. Remove the rocker cover & check for twin valve springs, & while you have the rocker cover in hand, check if the little spring clip for the throttle cable is in the centre of the rocker cover, going from front to back. If these are present,it's a good chance it's a GX. If it's single valve springs & the spring clip is towards the rear of the rocker cover,it's more than likely a standard engine.

the most obvious giveaway to the untrained eye will be twin carbs on a gx, vs single on standard motor.
