i have seen a woman , and her 2 kids, stuck in her 210 half way back up a gully (she had been all the way to the bottom).
we were on dirt bikes (i would think twice to take a 4wd in there). we gave her a push and she drove it the rest of the way out. this track had an 18" deep trench caused by runoff. if i hadnt seen it myself i wouldnt have believed it. i dont know about high altitude (we dont have any in oz) but really bad roads are no prob. and if you get hung up on something you can just lift it off.

Hi Sumith, Datsun B210 will run OK at high elevations (2km height). Every 1970-era car will run a little off at high elevation, because carburetors do not self-adjust. Some newer ones do, starting with 1976 California B210, but those are special cases.
Datsun B210 does fairly well offroad, on unpaved and bumpy roads. No problems. B210 does well on long, steep grades. Just put your foot down and hold it down. It can do that for a long time if the engine is in good tune and the radiator system is working well. Sumith's B210 GX ![]()

Hey Sumith,
By "high hill country side" do you mean steep landscape? I would say you would be fine going up there if other newer similar sized cars are going. Obviously if the land is really rough and wet/raining then you would be mad to drive the datsun on the steep slopes/hills. Do you have anymore pictures of your B210 GX? Chris
