dont touch it till they come, racv are tight and pigs! they will look for a reason not to pay.

you will have first option over the shell, just check it with them now, before the assesor comes.

just remeber, rach hate lowering blocks, rims in the wheels arch lips, and cut springs, not saying you hve them but they are pricks about this usually.

wasn't his fault so he will get to keep car

on a funny not... when the assesor came to look at my car i had done that, cause i knew i would get to keep it...there's was nothing but a shell... not a single thing bolted to it

as soon as the assesor was at the end of the drive i cracked out the 9" and split the car into 3 for transport... it has since been used to revive a rolled rally car of a friends

i know it sounds dodgy but if it's sitting in your yard until the insurers come to have a look at it could you start stripping it for parts now so even if they won't sell it to you you'll have all the parts?

thats why ppl dont use their restored cars as daily drives much, too much chance of it getting bent by some fool not concentrating. and yeah in little light cars u need to allow more for others not stopping. not long ago I had a massive Nissan 300C (cedric) and an mx5 convertible, roof off pulled out in front of me, if i hadnt changed lanes i would have rolled right over or through the thing.

hope u get on the road again, at least if u reshell it u have plenty spares.
