depends on the diff but, bluebird one pieces tailshaft has the right ends front and back if your running the ute diff. and you can also get a BW68 flange and redrill 2 holes and then it will suit an R31 diff and it uses the same unis as the bluebird shaft
stanza might also work

cost me $80 to get a bluebird tailshaft cut down

I supplied the whole tailshaft from a 180B (has to be blue from the factory).

They supplied a matching diff flange for the BW78 diff, and put new Uni joints for $180.

A full custom shaft may cost above $800. So be prepared to say "no" to that idea.

your friendly tail shaft will be able to supply a new one when you get a shaft made anyway. roughly $50 for the yoke

whole shaft build shouldn't go over $300 with new unis etc

I also need to know... My ute is leaking gear fluid pretty bad, well bad enough to leak all over the exhaust and come up through the gear selector hole. I bought mine done, and have since changed the seal at the back of the box, and it continues to leak. So yeah that got me thinking about the tailshaft, im pretty sure im still running the datsun tail shaft with the ca box....

I'm in need of a tailshaft for a ca into 1200 transplant does anyone know what model cars run the same yoke as the ca box or do I need to get a s13 shaft and cut off the yoke? I'll be running a h165 Diff.
Cheers
