A14,
Do you know the year (or close to the year)? And are you talking about the brass rings? Let me know and I'll see what I can find. Kelmo

Synchro ring part numbers??????

does anyone know the part numbers for the synchro rings for an A series 63A dogleg 5spd gearbox? My 3rd gear has started getting crunchy. (Dammit!) Sometimes on the upshift, and sometimes on the downshift. Since pulling the gearbox apart means wreckin the bearings (Around $200 worth all told) I want to use new synchro rings so I NEVER have to do it again. My local nissan dealer is by and large an unhelpful wanker. You go in and ask for XXX part, and they just say it's NLA, without even opening a parts book. If I have a part number, I'll get a mate in the trade to ring up and order them for me. If you walk in off the street, and your car is more than 15 years old, they don't want to know you.
