having done a few carby setups if you want blow through just go injection..... you will eventually anyway....save all the steps/money in between
kegs did try twin sidies but it didnt last long at all before he was going injection i tried with box around standard carby but it was too hard to seal throttle cable in reliable way that didnt jam the throttle on i also tried a hat on a 32/36 but that just spat gaskets out all the time my twin setup would make positive boost while the engine was labouring and its by far the best turbo setup ive driven (though i havent driven heaps) lag is a horrible thing, laggy cars need to be flogged to go fast, or even to just keep up with traffic, but cars that are built for the street with small turbos are beautiful i had a 180sx and i hated it, it was impossible to keep up with traffic until you really gave it a bit of a flogging, but then it left everyone for dead, there was no in between, and i've seen plenty of others silvias etc on the street and see them struggling with the same problem my turbo a-series on the other hand would pull away nicely from the lights and leave the average traffic behind you without going much over 3000rpm at any stage you will enjoy a turbo a on the street if you keep the turbo small (and compression stock and boost around 10psi or less)

ok kool that would be really good
thanks steveo ill probably dish the piston and run chrome rings should hold the boost , if they dont just gett stronger ones lol. i prefer going this way instead of the plate not that im saying its a bad idea , which im not

you'll have to go and see an engine builder, he'll machine the piston or they'll get them machined for you.
Decomp plate is 2mm thick and yes itt goes between the head gasket and the block, paid $90 from my local engine builder. I plan to take the head off in the next couple of weeks(if i can time off work!), i'll have to take a pic of it to show you. You can view topic.
