I would ask the RTA for written clarification.
I would reckon the cop who pulled you over would have a different interpretation to you and in the end the law is always right.

i cant imagine an engineer being concerned as to wether you can legally drive it or not, aslong as it is done correectly he should write the report

I alway thought it was power to weight ratio.... And P platers cant drive a vechial exceeding X amount power to weight.

I heard that it just refers to mods like turbo/superchargers, but then again i've seen P-platers driving skylines and wrx's and stuff like that. A guy from work his brother owns a WRX with all the bells and whistles, he mentioned something about getting a letter from his parents stating that its the only car that is available to drive, apparently this makes it legal for him to drive, apparently?

i think its stupid that there making all these rules and booking all thses peaple yet there all theses peaple who are stealing and murdering peaple and bashing into women get a slap on the rist because of there skin coulor(im not being rasist but it annoys me as we have been ripped off a few times cops just dig in soft dirt

i used to drive my coupe on the road wich had an a15 twin webers, different diff, gearbox a cage and race seats and never got hassled (even when caught neg driving)
