just rang nissan then and there sills are 140 each and thats only the bit under the door then theres the the rear part of the sill that is part of the rear quarter pannel that they dont sell so 280 buck later and you only have half of the sill , ill be getting mine pressed up this week :)

yeah the ebay pannels are all good,
had no problems with them and i have put them on both sides.... when you put em just roll em up so they have a nice shape and curv to them, i did both in a weekend so it isnt a big job! enjoy : )

1mm is plenty thick. its like steel plate compared to the metal skin on a 1200.

what would be a good thickness, the sills on ebay are 1 mm thick is that thick enough

id say it would be about the same price to go get a sill bent up as it would to buy the ebay ones, expect they ebay ones are paper thin and will probably rust out again in no time

i cut the rust out and now i just need too get the steel replaced i just dont want any rust or bog i HATE RUST AND BOG. and i was just wondering how much would it roughly cost

Bend up a piece of metal as a sample. Something like a strip of sheet metal 30mm in width. Then go talk to the local sheet metal shop.
You could try Southern Sheet Metal, South West trailers etc. Dont know where you go to school but the Campus has the gear to make your own, as to does Halls Head College.

Cut out a cross-section of the original sill panel and take it to a sheet metal shop. They will be able to fold/roll you up a piece that will run the full-length, in whatever thickness you would like.
Are you replacing them yourself?

i need sills for my 1200 ute but i dont know where to get them or wat one too get because there is a set on ebay but i dont know if they are thick enough and if they will match up properly
and if the rust is just behind the in the bottom of the rear quarter panel and its is just behind the front sill what can i do and could i use a sill to fix it because its the same shape as the sill You can view topic.
