Been there, done that. Actually your situation is worse than mine. In my case the other guy was found at fault and I just received a settlement for the car and my
injuries, about $7000 total. And, I "bought" the salvage from the insurance, so i got to keep my car. And, to my wife's dismay, I found another 1200 and I am now in the process of transfering my funds from one car to the next. Goodluck with your project. Angelo

Accident Report Finalised

Guys, just incase anyone is interested I have found the results of my crash I had earlyer this year (MARCH). I went to the cop shop as no one had contacted me yet and I thought this was
takin a while to sort out. It turns out that the case is closed and nothing more is being done to either driver as the cops reckon they cant work out who was at fault. This isnt such a bad thing, even though I WASNT in the wrong! And I have got to that stage where I cant be bothered to got to court over it and I also cant afford to go to court! At least I can keep my badly beaten up coupe! I am in the process now of pulling out the running gear to put in my other shell which i WILL (im determined! :) ) rally. If the other bloke was found at fault then my coupe would have been written off and I would have got jack all for it even though I spent close to $5000 on it:(. The bad news is that I got a letter the other day saying that the other lady involved (who got hit by the bloke I hit) is looking to seek damages as she reckons she was injured. Its taken a while for her injuries to show up! Anyway I have to fill out a form stating what happend in the accident in my view, then the insurance company SHOULD tell her to pissoff as I wasnt at fault, cause Im not paying her a single cent!! At least I can keep my coupes and can still work on them which I am loving! Sorry this was a bit long but I had to tell you all what was happening. Cheers Simon You can view topic.
