Also try gently sliding the key out or in as your trying to turn it Works for me my stanza ignition jams occasionally.

wot car is it?
is it part of ur steering lock? just pullthe clip out and join the wires in it to start

im not sure what its technically called but my key slot is jammed in the off position making the car impossible to start. i cant figure out how to get the cavity out to replace. it can anyone help?
