Whats happening ladies? Seems I may have bought my blue slut of a 1200 back for the same price I bought it for $800! Deadline for getting it driveable again is September cars n coffee. Yeah righto. Looking at image C you can just see a shadow showing the hanger coming down from the roof.

Don't think I have seen a seatbelt hanger like that before. I assume that it goes back up to the roof structure above the B pillar somehow, or perhaps a brace across the roof?
Usually the top belt return/direction change pulley thingo is bolted direct to the B pillar rather that using an extension of sorts.
I would have thought that using an extension would mean that in a crash that it would make it les effective than if it was direct to the B pillar.

Still it is old 70s tech, so its not surprising if it isnt the best design.

Looks like the bright sunlight is blocking out the shoulder hanger -- notice how the far door top metal is washed out of the photo by the sunlight
