haha i was half way reading your post when i thought to myself "ok no crappy brands.. lucky i have a supercat" haha made me laugh at the end when you said they are tinny.. spose thats why that exhaust place is cheap..

well i was thinking if its too quiet then i might get rid of the muffler and put a resonator closer to the front.. like at the front seat.. just for fun..

its not going to be noticably different from standard, you may notice you use an extra half of a cent every tank. the inlet manifold doesnt have a hole in it if your worried about that it just has a heat sink.

the setup with the 2 inch straight through will sound fine but dont buy a crappy brand muffler. go with something that has been used before. i have tried a few and recommend lukey, mercury one that starts with b cant quite remember but it was defientely the best. dont get superkat as they a a real tinny sound.

so how much harder is it to start and keep started in the morning when its cold.. or just keep the revs up (choke)till its 100% warm.. is there anything you can do (change position of muffler??) to make it louder?? it is a strait through muffler..

the intake manifold is connected to the exhaust to warm it up for like cold starts etc.
it will b fine to disconnect the 2 wen u install the extractors

and i had an a12 with 4-2-1 extractors with a small mufler at the back and that was that loud but sounded good

hey all,
got some 4-2-1 extractors of a member just yesterday and i got the steel brush and cleaned them up and sprayed them with some heat proof pressure pack, "cast iron" grey.. now the car was dropped into the exhaust shop today to get them hooked up. but when i was looking at the engine yesterday i noticed the inlet manifold seems to be "connected" to the exhaust manifold.. i was a little confused at first but i wasnt sure if it is just there to support it or what? now my question is that if the extractors are put on then will that effect the inlet manifold in any way??

also will it be very loud with 4-2-1 single 2 inch pipe to single strait through muffler??? stock motor
