1200 diff is 1310mm ish
r31 diff is 1465mm ish
so therefore 155mm needs to be cut out

pintaras had 25 spline diffs, autos were 4.11:1 diff ratio, manuals were 3.9:1

skylines had 28 spline diffs, autos were 3.9:1 and manuals were 3.7:1

brakes and housings are all the same

brake lines are pretty much diff specific...so the lines on the diff will need to be made to suit a 1200, rather than hte other way around

#1 R31 DIFF ??? for 1200 sedan
FRKYCA Posted on: 2009/6/29 10:21
I'm thinking of putting a r31 skyline diff in my 1200 sedan just need to know a few thing / specs on how to do it ( cut, weld and so on.. )
and also if all r31 diffs are the same ?

My 1200 has had a R31 diff in it before, so all the new brake lines are there already for an easy fit ( well i hope ) =)

thanks...
