Also the one that I am currently using, I think the solenoid is stuffed. It just didnt start, like as if it didnt have power. The relay was clicking when the key turned, but nothing. Even when I hotwired it....nothing.

Push started it then stopped it. Then it started again!! Weird

yeh....the bindings are stuffed. one of the pieces of copper fell apart when I took it apart. It was also very dirty inside. It has had a bad life (well since I had it anyway). 1 min starts while trying to tune my SU's.

When can I come round to get one Mick?? Also how much??

not hard to fix...just need to check if the bindings on the motor are stuffed or not or if it is just the solenoid, pull it apart and have a look
