:) just ran the old man he said to do the same thing. I've just used areldite, fingers crossed. After having a look atthe carbuy i think i may need a new one anyways parts and springs look and feel rather worn and sloppy.

my standard a12 had the same drama.
i used some 2 part epoxy and glued it back in. never came back out either.

Hey All I'm after an A12 motor carby (or bolt on replacement). mines torn the inside thread that hold the filter in place and i need it for work on monday. so going on a long shot i'm hoping someone has one at home they wouldnt mind parting with, even if its on loan till tuesday or wednesday when i can get to narangba wreckers and get one for $77 seeings as how they are closed until then ..

On the Gold Coast/Brissy area
going into a 1200 ute if that matters.
