What microtech computer do you have? MT or LT ?
Do you have hand control or laptop so in Config menu you you can set it to TEST ON. (the Config menu is where you set it to the number of cylinders you engine has)

will check the coil there's only one - but as it runs on the two pots and not on the others I suspect that this may not be the case... tits or wheels it will cost/frustrate you! Thanks for the reply

I've heard the SR20 coils here go bad more than you'd expect. Maybe two of the coils are on the fritz.

To test this, swap the coils and see if the non-firing cylinder changes with the coil.

I am not familiar with your FI setup, but I have had trouble with a batch firing system in the past. I like to put my injectors in a set of plastic water bottles and watch them fire and measure the appropriate fluid amounts retained. If your not firing on all the injectors, try swaping the injectors from the working into the non-working slots and see what happens.

I have had the ute for around two years now - apart from being a little cranky and rich on cold starts in the cold ran fine - last year run 100kw at the wheels at the local show and shine, car ran out of rego and was sitting for 3 - 4 mths this year as I was working up in Broome and the car sat the shed.

Yes it runs - but I am only getting fuel put in through the injectors on 2 and 3 - not 1 and 4 (pulled the new plugs out and they aren't wet and multimeter test of wires back to the microtech show nothing is being sent out of the yellow wire to 1and 4 and 0.2v to the orange wires to 2 and 3

Hi guys - I have a 1200 ute with sr20 running a microtech computer
Problem - the ute is only firing on cylinders 2 and 3
I have changed plugs, tested leads, and checked the wires to the injecters (2 and 3 test ok - and nothing on 1 and 4)
I have put the multimeter right out of the Microtech and only sends to the firing pots and not to the other two
Could this be as simple as with the ute sitting for a long time and the battery going flat - could I have lost settings/programing?

OR

Maybe something has fried in the computer?
Oh and also I have also tested compression and all are within 135-150

HELP PLEASE!!!
