The ID number is printed (Not stamped) on the carb. If you cannot read it, then we cannot idenitify it.
Why do you need the number? DCG306 and the year should be sufficient for any replacement parts.

Hi All,
alas the numbers have worn off the ID plate of my carb. Im running an a12 with engine number starting a12001979d and experiencing a flat spot.. the carb has an 80 stamped in an oval on the side.. im basically trying to alleviate the flat spot but most manufacturers need the code coming after the dcg306 start code.. It has been serviced etc but that didn't correct the flat spot.. so im thinking i may try and find another stock carb and bolt it on but still! Cheers, Tom You can view topic.
