#1 A14 Engine Mounts... and more crazy questions
Victoria_J_Van Posted on: 2009/12/7 7:09
I'm in the midst of restoring the last Morris J Van in North America and, for reasons that are long an not very intersting, I've decided to fit it with a Nissan A14 engine. Here's my blog of the project: http://www.victoriajvan.blogspot.com/

Others have fitted an A14 before (see last post on the blog).

The distance between the frame rails is 19 inches. The orignal engine mount for this vehicle are located at the very front. I need to find brackets that will support the A14 engine mounts. I think it would be best to weld them to the top of the frame rails. Does anyone know where I can get this hardware? Two, the rubber mounts, does anyone know where I can get them? Finally, I have an automatic transmission and, in the photo that's inlcuded on my blog site, I'm missing all the transmision mount hardware and mounts too. Where can I get those things?

Thanks very much.
