Unfortunately no, but I sold my coupe to Gylezy on here, so if you PM him he might be able to give you more info about it - like a part number or something.

I ran a Sigma alternator for a about 10 years... internally regulated, bolts up to the standard 120y mount on the block. I'm not sure how many amps it put out though or exactly which sigma it was from. It worked fine.
VN Commodore alternators are a pretty common conversion on a lot of modded cars - you need to swap the pulley for a v-belt type one (the Commodores have a serpentine belt). They output 105 amps. Not sure how close they'd be to fitting a 120y though.

im currently using a 50amp xf falcon one, just needed to mod the bottom mounts by removing some meat from the arms to fit the 1200 mounts to the block.
internal reg alternaor, works well. pully slightly out of alignment, no biggie though

Is yours also sitting there in the bottom underneath the water pipe that goes into the block?
I also want to upgrade mine as it is a $hity make, but I don't know what will fit without huge mods.

Gday all.
Well the 35A alternator on the 120Y has become virtually useless since the sound system went in. Just looking for conversions to alternators with higher outputs, just wondering what others have used , pictures would be very helpful. I hav looked at the tech wiki article and couldnt really find what i was looking for You can view topic.
