I used my '73 A12 flywheel on my '82 A15 motor for years.

ALL of the A series flywheels will interchange, however some early 1000 cranks used an Imperial size thread instead of Metric so one would need to ensure that the bolts & cranks matched.

If you have an A14 engine & want to pull the flywheel & simply substitute an A12 flywheel, then go for it.

I used an A10 flywheel on a 1200 crank with flywheel bolts that I found in the grass at a wreckers. It worked for me.
