#28 Re: Help with bleeding brakes??

i found out the hard way sunny boy, tried with a one man bleed kit, use less, used the one man kit with the 2 person method- better. As i put the larger slaves in the rear, it makes the pedal a little softer due to the more fluid going into rear slaves.

hey levey, it is much easyer with two people, 1 pumping the pedel other bleeding, also you might know this but start with the 1 that is furthest away from the master cylinder and work your way towards it. making sure the person in the car holds the pedel down after 4-5 pumps, open (nipple, but not to fast) then close it. do it a couple of times, to all the brakes always checking the master cylinder to make sure you dont run out of fluid other wise you will have to start again, in the end you should have a pretty full pedal, ah and dont forget to addjust your hand break cause if you dont the rear will take up some of the pedal (about 7 clicks on the hand brake). hope this helps, sorry if you already knew all this stuff.
