Your mate must have been drunk. All wiring diags clearly show the dropping resistors are a det only part. Plus I've personally done a DE to DET upgrade back when I turned 25... 12 years ago

Hmmmm.
I had always been led to beleive that the CA18De's used a resistor, and the DET's did not. This was told to me by a mate who has done lots of CA18det wiring loom conversions/ECU remapping.

so correct me if i am wrong, cause the ca uses 370cc injectors which are low impedance, i have to wire in 4, apprx 6-7ohm resistors in series parallel with the injectors??
i think i know what i am talkin about lol.. anyone done the conversion?

They are a JECs part with a Nissan connector.
The term "Dropping Resistor" is the term of interest. See: http://zilvia.net/f/archive-faqs/1330 ... e-injectors-approved.html I have one at my parents, but I wouldn't be able to put it in the post until after XMAS. Cheers.
