I need to know to ask my bank if they will accept direct transfers from this bank. Dundee1000, please check your bank as well. Maybe we can skip Western Union to save money.

My bank does an international transfer straight to ur bank account so no need for western union 4 like $22!!

From the commonwealth bank website:

To send an IMT you need:

* The bank code, name and address of the overseas bank you are transferring to
* The beneficiary's name, address and account number
* The amount and currency you wish to send

If you are sending money to certain countries, you may also need an International Bank Account Number (IBAN). Your beneficiary will need to provide you with their IBAN...

Paypal we can only go out with money but not receive. I don't know why. My neighbour has Paypal account, but he has problems w.r.t above mentioned. I would have gone for PayPal if there weren't problems.
