You should have no problems with that setup but I went a step further with the A15 supercharged/nitrous and the lock rearend. Went through both the H150 and H165 rearends before blowing the motor. The only thing that lasted was the 5 speed tranny. I wish I would have had the motor dyno'd when it was at its peak performance but if I had to take a guess, I was probably pushing 120hp. Maybe a bit more. The A15 was pushed to its limits. I was sorry to see it go.

The larger ports will allow more gas flow, but the GX valves are smaller than the A15 valves, so you loose what you might have gained because of this.

The A15 head is very well suited to the A15 engine for almost any application except 'balls to the wall' race engines, however with suitable mods, they will serve well in this application too.

A modified A12GX head has more potential in a race engine, but again, really only in an all out engine.

if you put gx head with its twin carbs on your a15, how much HP will you think it will make?

Well an A15 feels twice as powerful as an A12. Just make sure to use an A14/A15 transmission and rear end, as the A12 ones are not strong enough.

All car engines are rated at the flywheel. Only aftermarket engines are rated at the wheels.
