what have i started lol.
ive been looking at what i already have and what i can do and i think ill fit edis on the E15 and make it suck through turbo as i cant join edis and the original ecu together. ive also got some forged pistons to suit the E series so im hoping i can get a bit of power out of my setup.

Theres also the Ca18de route and plenty of gearboxes available.
Also the a12 block with a14 crank, a12a rods and offset 81mm sleeves and 81mm 4AGE slugs will give you 1587cc with meat left over for boost.

What about an A18, just fit a 1" thick plate on top of A15, dry liners, longer rods & pushrods and there you go. And the stroke is still shorter than GM V8, so should rev to 8500 RPM or so.

Eventually you will opt back to the beauty, simplicity and originality of the A series.
The e series is nice but although you can solve the dizzie problem with ecu ignition the water passage to the back of the head is not aesthetically pleasing or rather ugly. Since the bolt up is similar to a qg18de or ga16de you might find them better again if going the e15 path. In Canada and Europe there is a ga16e with 12 valve head that is supposed to be a midrange king with fat torque and great economy. Very compact 12v sohc head design and it bolts up to the 1.8 liter gq18de block. http://www.nissanforums.com/b11-b12-k ... eurocam-install-here.html After many years the best bet is a boosted SU setup A series similar to Topgear but with proper carbon sealed turbo, meth/water injection, jet coated exhaust and adjustable in cabin boost controller for the feel/power you desire. All using stock A12 with a14 crank, e15et pistons and a12a conrods.

im more getting at what i should build. the car feels so light that anything i stick in it will go well but what will suit my purpose better. a turbo'd E series or a hi revving A series. i just feel the Eseries giving too much power ( as in wheel spin) but not enough revs while the A series will have less power but rev much more.
