Its only a 1.2ltr with a turbo intended for a 2ltr engine... it will be laggy. Getting properly tuned though will help minimize it :P

Ill take some pictures of the boost ref line next time I got the carby hat off, but basically all I did was drill along the blank passage that runs along the top of the float bowl and then drill into it from underneath, then I used devcon to glue in a piece of 5/16 bundy tube into the hole, not the neatest way to do it but works a treat

Changed the bottom half of the carby this arvo with one that i knew worked and this fixed the problem. Took it for a quick drive and it ran pretty sweet but it seemed fairly laggy

I've tried it hot or cold it makes no difference, im going to try a different carby on it tonight and see what happens

is it just doing this wen its cold? have u let it idle to warm then rev? because mine will do that until warm i am running the same sort of setup but without the boost reference line and mine is fine only leans a little up top like 8-9g but is not properly jetted yet i had fuel problems wen i first did it with a 32/36 weber but then i changed to a 180 holley and it was fine but i believe it was just my weber

seen as the carby is the only questionable part
i would look there, even if u rebuilt it
use your hand to choke the carby while its running
and see if it revs then
sounds like lack of fuel
primarys idle jets are fine
primary main jet blocked
