Good point....but I got this speed bug for the past 12 years...and cant help myself...i could appreciate it in stock form...but I've always been about the interior(engine) matters most than exterior(body). We shall see maybe enjoy for a year or 2 then modify.

If you want it reliable, don't touch it. Just drive it. I drive mine every day, never had a major part go bad yet (it's a 1972 model).

the big block most likely has oval ports and the 12 will have round, so no go on the swap...

Hi everybody.

I have just entered the worlds of Datsuns and have just purchased a 72 1200 B110. I plan on trying to restore and rebuild as much as i can as a first timer. I already have a heavyviky modified sr22 and would like to go back to the roots.

My question is will a oval port twin carby a14/15 manifold still fit the standard single carb that exhaust manifold that the 1200 comes with.

any advice or info appriciatted
