Use a very sharp chisel, keep it sharpened and use at a very light angle. Be careful not to dig into the head, I found this works best, some of the old rb30 inlet gaskets were adhesive and very hard to get off, this worked a treat for those.

Yes, use a solvent called "gasket stripper".

I use a putty knife, sharpened along its edge. I wouldn't use a buffer or sanding, to prevent dust from getting in the engine.

I also scrape the majority of gaskets off with a razor blade, then clean the gasket surface areas with a scourer type disc that attaches to a die grinder. with this u gently go over the entire area evenly and they come up like brand new.

In Australia we have a product called 'gasket cleaner' it's a spray that dissolves gaskets then you can just gently scrap it off with a tool we funny enough call a 'gasket scraper' - both are available from auto shops here...not sure about portugal.

How do i remove the old gasket remains in the A14 cylinder head? Can i sand it or scrap it or do i use some kind of product to clean completly the head? The head doesn`t have any warp it was just a blown gasket. Can i do it myself or give it to a specialize shop?

Thank in advance!
