SUNNY Truck is the same as coupe
and same as sedan

1971-1978 -- same as sedan
1978-1988 -- same as coupe
1989- different top spacing than coupe

SUNNY TRUCK AND DATSUN 1200 RADIATOR SUPPORT PANELS ARE DIFFERENT, GOOD JOB ON THE HEADLIGHT FITMENT.YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE TOP MOUNTING TABS. I GOT AWAY WITH NOT WORRYING ABOUT THE BOTTOM. MINES BEEN ON FOR 3 YEARS NOW.

You'll need to weld or screw 6 little right angle brackets into the base of your radiator support panel for the grill to screw to:

hey thanks! do you have any pictures for reference? i can use at as well when i check for parts around.

i think there should be a little bracket that bolts onto the back of the grill and goes onto the little brace thingy under the bonnet latch and then there should be a screw on each side at the top and one in the middle that screws into the radiator support

Hello everyone!

I just recently got this grille to convert my late front end to this early type of grille and im just wondering where to mount the lower part of this grille into the body. I just cant seem to figure out if there is any part that i can purchase to make this fit decently onto the front. can anyone some me some pictures or if you have any part number so i can look around and see if this is still available here.

i can mount the top part of the grille as the existing 2 outer mounting brackets are aligned to the grille but the bottom part of the grile that contains 6 holes doesnt have any thing to bolt on. do i need to customize a bracket or is there any part that i can purchase.

i was able to mount the headlights with a lousy brackets i made as the headlights came from other car type. just got it as they have same size.
