Jesse, its hard enough to get the sedan tail lights to an unacceptable level, ute lenses would be even harder!
I can do side indicator lenses though, totally clear.

You can buy coloured LED globes that slot straight in where the originals went.

Sort of comes down to personal preference. I would use LEDs because they last longer. I don't think heat generation would be to much of a problem as they standard lense (well in the ute anyway i think) are plastic. With the leds you might have to buy some other bit (can't remember what they are called) which corrector the rate the indicator flashers due to the decrease amp draw.

Do you guys think incandescent bulbs will be OK (about $3 each for colored glass)?
I wonder if they will melt the plastic. Or should I go with cold LED bulbs (about $6 each) * two regular reverse lights Type (use the stock ones) * two RED brake/tail lights dual element * two AMBER indicator (turn signal) lights single element And is it worth it to get the silver-coated ("for clear lense") type? I'm going to fit the lenses that Levey made (thanks, Levey!) Clear ![]() ![]() You can view topic.
