Datsun 1200s were not fitted with factory electronic ignition until 1989.
Hey that's neat on that web page. It is considerably less expensive than the Pertronix setup. It should work on your 1200, assuming you have a Hitachi distributor and not a Mitsubishi unit. It will say on the distributor housing. Skip the coil, you can buy any 1980s Nissan electronic ignition coil. hello, i am new to this page. i have a 1200 ute.
